I was pleasantly surprised by the beautifully decorated old French colonial style rooms that offered all modern conveniences. The view of the river was a nice touch, though some may find the rooms slightly dark. The shower cabin in the middle of the room may not be everyone's cup of tea, but overall, the rooms were charming and comfortable.

The service was superb, especially from Zack and chef Noy, with whom I had a fantastic cooking class. The staff, including Saixong, Porxong, Zack, Lan, and Sone, were naturally friendly and outgoing, making my stay enjoyable. They were attentive to all my needs and made me feel welcome.

Location

The location was excellent, particularly if you enjoy watching the monks collecting alms early in the morning. Being very central in Luang Prabang, it was divine, riverside, minutes away from the main street and temples. The proximity to the Mae Khong river added to the charm of the location.

Dining

The dining experience was very good, offering a combination of buffet and a la carte options. The menu was substantial, and the variety of fruit provided was delightful. I enjoyed the eggs benedict and the different egg cooking styles available.

Facilities

The facilities at the hotel were top-notch, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The amenities were well-maintained and enhanced my overall experience at the hotel.
